DYED Studios started ​as pipedream,

a glint in the eye of five Wellington-based art buddies in 2022, to have a working studio space in the heart of the city with gallery space to share and celebrate Realist Art. Now not much more than a year later we have opened to the public.

The Ethos of DYED is to be welcoming to all and to reduce the barriers to accessing contemporary representational Wellington Art. As a working studio we also want people to be able to see how the works are made, to see them in various stages of development, to come and chat with the creators of the artwork displayed in an informal setting.
